Since my app was really damn borderline, here's a crit post in advance. OKAY. Much like my wife over here, I am going to do a beta post. Any app you need help with, just comment here with your journal and/or email address, and I'l'l get back to you. If I'm canon-blind I'll let you know, I'll get back to you within about 48 hours, etc. All that jazz.

HOWEVER. Here is where my post differs slightly from Juri's. I cannot beta first drafts well. Seriously, I'm not good at it. What I AM good at is polishing your app. If you're feeling pretty solid, but you've still got wording/flow issues? Send 'em my way. If you need nitpicking? Go for it. Is it an hour before apps open and you just need that last beta to give you a quick look? I am all for it. I will beta up to and during the app window, assuming that I'm awake.

If your app is still too rough for me to be much help, I'll still comment; I'll just send you back to Juri's post, that's all. Consider this to be stage two in the beta-ing process. Or something. Mostly I'm trying to help out with Juri's beta-ing-ness. :|

S-so! As a few of you already know, my internet has decided to be an ass and shut almost completely down during the peak hours for the comm. What. Dad says it's 'cause we're on cable internet and that's when everyone else wants to be on, but I don't think the internet is supposed to slow down that much even then. It's not like I'm doing anything strenuous! All I want is LJ, dammit. And when dial-up is more stable and faster than my cable internet, that's really sad.

... so yeah. If it happens again tonight, I am COMPLAINING and hopefully that will do something. If not then. I am. Not sure what I'm going to do. Besides involuntarily becoming one of the morning crew, orz.

That's a whole lotta nothin'.

As people who RP with me regularly have probably noticed, I have been rather scarce lately! Blah blah crunch time at school, blah blah running around to get JET applications together, blah blah STRESS ARGH etc. S-so. Declaring a semi-hiatus until Thursday-ish next week, when my hell will moooostly be over. I can't guarantee that I'll be in any mood for serious RP until after my two big papers are done. (Thank god my finals aren't too killer this time around.)

Another one for the Turkey-day bandwagon o/ I am going to visit Russel-mun tomorrow for Thanksgiving and will be gone until Sunday; since he's only got dialup at his house, I will be basically internet-less until I get home, save for voting and also Exalted on Friday evening. (Hopefully. We'll see how his connection holds up re: Exalted.)

As for my characters~ They will be off doing stuff while I'm away. Ishida is going to be saddled with the task of putting Shin through knitting training, so they'll both be stuck in Ishida's room for a few days. Shinjiro is being abducted by the kitchen to cook stuff all during Thanksgiving weekend, and Phoenix is getting whaled on by a ton of paperwork. ... which leaves Kurogane, who is going to be stuck in bed with a nasty nasty cold. Thanks for being contagious, Fay. :(
